Absolutely! In-store, it is as easy as 1-2-3! Simply ensure your Special card is stored in your Apple or Google Pay wallets and tap to pay, just like any other transaction! 

However, be sure to check that surcharges don't cause the value of the transaction to go over the value available on the card, as this will then cause a decline. 

For online purchases, Apple Pay or Google pay can be used at checkout, just be sure to select your Special card when choosing which card is to be charged. 

However, if the merchant does not accept Apple or Google Pay, please go to the wallet page and select “Manage” on the desired Special Card. Once selected, select “Spend Online” and then proceed to copy the card information to use at the checkout. 

** The card information must be input in the Credit or Debit payment option, not in the voucher or Gift Card option.  

Please note: If your Gift Card is being declined during the process of entering it in to a 3rd party payment gateway provider (such as Shopify) it may be that they are not accepting Prepaid card products. This decision is made by the individual merchant or retailer and Special has no control over this.
