When you’re ready to make your purchase, you simply navigate to the checkout and enter your Special Gift Card details directly into the Credit Card field.
You'll first need to locate your Gift Card from within the Special App by clicking "the Wallet" icon from the bottom of your screen. Then simply select the card you would like to use and tap on the card image to view the card details.
You will now see the card's details. You will need the card number, expiry date and CVC to complete your online transaction. If you are asked for a Card Holder's name you will need to enter your name as the receiver of the Gift Card.
**The card information must be input in the Credit or Debit payment option, not in the voucher or Gift Card option.
Once you’ve pressed submit, your order will be confirmed.
Alternatively, if you are on the Special website:
Hover over your name in the top right corner
Select “My Gift Cards” from the drop-down menu
Select “Manage” on your desired card
Select “Spend online”
Copy the card details, inputting them into the Credit/Debit section when selecting your payment option when checking out.
Please note: If your Gift Card is being declined during the process of entering it in to a 3rd party payment gateway provider (such as Shopify) it may be that they are not accepting Prepaid card products. This decision is made by the individual merchant or retailer and Special has no control over this.
