We know this might sound cliché, but sometimes hardware issues are resolved by switching the device on and off, or even checking for the latest software update.
To use your card in store you will need a phone that supports NFC (Near-Field Communication), so that you can make contactless payments.
To check if your phone is compatible, we’d suggest first seeing if your phone has the latest operating systems;
Apple iPhones running iOS version 10 (and later)
Android phones running Android API version 16 "Jelly Bean" (and later), Wear OS is not compatible.
Apple Watches running watch OS 8 (and later)
If you’re unsure if your phone can be updated to the latest operating system, you can refer to the manufacturer's website.
Please note; that our Special Cards are not supported on iPads or other tablet devices.
We always recommend maintaining the latest operating system version on your device for security reasons.
