Authorisations may be declined at some merchants at Special's discretion, or at merchants that do not accept the Card.

Our Special Category Cards are linked to particular Merchant Category Codes (MCC Codes) that are relative to those cards. It is up to the merchant if they choose the relevant merchant code that is linked to the particular category card.

We are not liable in any way when an authorisation is declined for any particular transaction, except where the authorisation has been declined because of an act or omission on our part.

We may also add and remove merchants at any given time, and will update the website and app accordingly.

Special is not liable for any delays in updating website and app lists where changes have been made.
